Before talking about the service itself, we need you to understand what Psychopedagogy is: a field of action in health and education that dialogues with knowledge from other areas. The psychopedagogue is the professional who researches and deals with issues that hinder and/or prevent learning, whether in the school or out-of-school environment.
Challenges with learning can appear during different stages of life, so the psychopedagogical performance covers all ages. This professional can be counted on to deal with specific obstacles and/or complex issues in schools, companies, clinics and hospitals.
It involves a series of meetings and begins with identifying the issue that led the patient to come to us. Then an action plan is drawn up to work together on the difficulties that are negatively impacting learning. The number of sessions varies according to each case and the proposal is presented and discussed with the patient and/or family after the identification phase. This first stage lasts an average of four sessions, and may be extended according to the complexity of each case.
It is recommended for skills and competencies training such as leadership, integration and engagement, team building, creativity, strategic planning, among others. Additionally, it can address a specific demand of the group, such as resolving a current problem they are facing or developing new products and/or services. The activity is designed based on the presented needs, the number of individuals, and the group's time availability. These sessions can be conducted in companies, institutions, organizations, and for heterogeneous groups sharing an interest in the same topic.
